The journey continues! Following our summer youth programs, Discovering Amistad and Today's Youth Tomorrow's Future are expanding the Amistad Leadership Academy to New London high school students this coming September.

This advanced academy will focus heavily on civic engagement, social justice, systemic change, and actionable community leadership. High school participants will analyze the legal and social triumphs of the Amistad captives, learning how to use history as a blueprint for advocacy and personal growth today. This is an incredible opportunity for teens looking to build their resumes, sharpen their public speaking skills, and drive real change in New London.
