Discovering Amistad is excited to participate in Mitchell College’s first-ever Story Swap on Saturday, August 22, 2026, welcoming new students to both the campus and the New London community.

As part of the experience, Discovering Amistad will meet with incoming students and fall athletes to share the Amistad story and its powerful lessons of courage, leadership, community, and using your voice to create change.

We are grateful to Mitchell College for including us in this new initiative and for the opportunity to connect history with the next generation of leaders.
